WASHINGTON — Today, Representative Josh Harder (CA-10) announced that his office is partnering with Stanislaus County Public Health to host a vaccine clinic at El Rematito on the weekends of May 22nd and 29th. The clinic is open to the public with specific outreach for the Latino community who have been disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. This event represents a new effort for Rep. Harder and the public health department to meet people where they’re at in order to get everyone vaccinated. The event flyer is available attached/below and online in English and Spanish.
“To get our whole community vaccinated, we need to be doing way more than putting up a sign and hoping for the best. So many folks just can’t take a day off of work or spend hours in the car in order to get a vaccine,” said Rep. Harder. “This partnership is a huge step in the right direction toward making sure everyone, especially our communities of color, get protected.”
The clinic will run on May 22nd, 23rd, 29th and 30th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Crows Landing Flea Market (El Rematito) 3113 Crows Landing Road, Modesto. It will accept appointments from MyTurn as well as walk ins. It will distribute the Pfizer vaccine.
Members of the media who would like to speak to Rep. Harder about this exciting new effort are encouraged to reply directly to this email. Members of the media who wish to attend the event must email Andrew Mamo at Andrew.Mamo@mail.house.gov.
