Washington, D.C. – Today, Representative Jared Huffman (D-CA) announced the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds that the U.S. Department of Treasury is releasing to California’s Second Congressional District as part of the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021.  These funds will provide vital resources for California’s families and communities.

“We’ve all been hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic, and there is a long road to recovery ahead,” said Rep. Huffman. “Thanks to the American Rescue Plan, local governments and Tribes have access to $350 billion in flexible relief funds to help struggling households and businesses build back better from the pandemic. The funding released today will help ensure a strong and equitable recovery from the coronavirus pandemic, and I will continue working with my colleagues to meet the needs of folks and businesses in our community.”

Funding for California’s Second District will be distributed as follows:

  • Del Norte County: $5,402,155.00
