Modesto, CA – Representative Josh Harder (CA-10) released the following statement after Governor Gavin Newsom appointed Mani Grewal to fill the Stanislaus County Supervisor seat left open following the passing of Tom Berryhill.
“I want to congratulate Mani on his historic appointment to the Stanislaus County Board of Supervisors, and as one of the first Sikh Americans to serve on a Board of Supervisors in California. Governor Newsom made a good choice in selecting someone who has experience serving the people of the Valley and represents the diversity of our community.
“Mani and I have had a productive relationship for years and we share a commitment to listening to all sides and getting things done. I look forward to working together.”
