CASTRO VALLEY, CA – The office of Rep. Eric Swalwell will host Emergency Preparedness Trainings later this month in Dublin and San Lorenzo.
“California – particularly our 15th Congressional District – is a great place to live, but we’re prone to certain risks. We have earthquakes, wildfires, and mudslides; our beautiful Bay Area’s international profile could make us a target for terrorism; and public health issues like the new coronavirus can impact our day-to-day lives,” Swalwell said. “These aren’t things we should worry about constantly, but they are things for which we should be prepared. To help you be ready, my office will host two Emergency Preparedness Trainings later this month.”
The trainings are scheduled for:
10 a.m.– noon Saturday, March 21
200 Civic Plaza, Dublin, CA 94568

1–3 p.m. Saturday, March 28

The trainings will feature presentations from experts to guide attendees through four steps to prepare for emergencies or disasters, the actions people need to take now, and how people can use what they prepare. These are office-hosted; Congressman Swalwell will not be present.
These trainings are free and open to all residents of California’s 15th Congressional District, which includes San Ramon, Dublin, Pleasanton, Livermore, Sunol, Hayward, Union City, Castro Valley, San Lorenzo, Cherryland, Ashland and Fairview as well as parts of Fremont and Danville.
