SAN RAMON, CA – Rep. Eric Swalwell will attend a Community Forum on Gun Safety on March 19 in San Ramon, to which constituents of California’s 15th Congressional District are inivited.
“Too many Americans die by gun violence every single day – on our cities’ streets, in cases of domestic violence, in mass shootings. Our children must hold active-shooter drills in their schoolrooms. Our churches, synagogues and mosques, our movie theaters and concert halls and nightclubs, our workplaces and shopping areas no longer feel safe. No community is immune – but we don’t have to live this way,” Swalwell said. “Join me and Assemblywoman Rebecca Bauer-Kahan, Alameda County District Attorney Nancy O’Malley, and Moms Demand Action founder Shannon Watts to discuss how we are working together to create a future free from gun violence. Dr. Gloria Duffy, President and CEO of The Commonwealth Club, will moderate the discussion.”
